Reverend Thomas von Behren, C.S.V.
PRESIDENT
 

Reverend Thomas von Behren received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University of Chicago, a Master of Divinity from the Catholic Theological Union and a Master of Arts degree from the University of San Francisco.  Fr. Tom has an extensive background in education and ministry spanning 23 years.  His career in education includes serving as President of Bishop Gorman High School from 1993 – 1999, President of St. Viator High School from 1999 – 2005 and President/Principal of St. Viator High School from 2003 – 2005.  Fr. Tom’s pervasive commitment to ministry encompasses serving as Provincial Superior of the Clerics of St. Viator from 2005 – 2017.  He has also served in the capacity of Associate Pastor with Maternity B.V.M Church, Directory of Pastoral Ministry with the Clerics of St. Viator and Director of Pastoral Ministry with Griffin High School.  Fr. Tom also has been involved in community service in the Las Vegas area.  He served as a member of the Board of Directors for Boys Hope and a member of the Board of Directors for Catholic Community Services of Nevada. 

 

Melissa McKinley

CORPORATE WORK STUDY PROGRAM COORDINATOR

 

Melissa McKinley is the Corporate Work Study Coordinator for Cristo Rey St. Viator Las Vegas College Preparatory. A Las Vegas native, Melissa has extensive experience in Human Resources, recruitment and marketing working for Las Vegas companies such as R&R Partners, the World Market Center (IMC), Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck and the UFC. Melissa earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Creighton University and is a Bishop Gorman High School alumn. She is responsible for building partnerships with the Las Vegas business community through the development and growth of the Cristo Rey St. Viator Corporate Work Study Program.

Dan Schwarz 

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH

 

Dan Schwarz is a Lay Viatorian Associate with the Clerics of St Viator and is the Director of Communications & Community Outreach for Cristo Rey St. Viator Las Vegas College Preparatory. Dan, originally from the Chicago area, earned a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University. Dan has worked in the television broadcasting industry having held various management positions at several stations, including KLJB-TV in Davenport, Iowa, KMTF-TV in Helena, Montana and KLAS-TV in Las Vegas. More recently, Dan worked as an Account Executive at KVVU-TV, and then worked one year as VP of Operations at the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, in Henderson, Nevada. 

 

Francisco Aguilar, ESQ

CHAIRMAN, BOARD OF TRUSTEES

 

Francisco Aguilar will serve as Chairman of the Board of Trustees.  Francisco serves as General Counsel for Agassi Graf, the management company for Andre Agassi and Stefanie Graf, and the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education.  He is responsible for communications and media, marketing and brand management, strategic partnerships, government and legal affairs.  Prior to joining Agassi Graf, Francisco served as Special Counsel to the Chancellor of the Nevada System of Higher Education, and as a lawyer for the parent company of the Las Vegas NBC affiliate, KSNV Channel 3 and 16 other NBC affiliates.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and accounting, MBA and J.D. all from The University of Arizona. Francisco is a member of the Nevada, California, and Arizona Bars.  He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Sletten Construction Company, the Las Vegas Bowl, the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy, the University of Arizona James E. Rogers Law College Board of Visitors, the University of Arizona Foundation National Leadership Council and the Marshall Foundation in Tucson, Arizona.  Nevada Governors Jim Gibbons and Brian Sandoval appointed Francisco to the Nevada Athletic Commission which regulates boxing and mixed martial arts where he served for eight years. He served two years as Chairman.
